Throughthe Looking Glass - Adam and Eve, Etching / À la Poupée, 20 cm x 14 cm
Adam and Eve stand by a hexagonal porthole, symbolizing order and connection, gazing at a distant planet. A tree cross-section around them reflects time, relocation, and the solar system. At their feet, a helmet with a sprout symbolizes space travel and new beginnings, uniting humanity with nature.
To better express my thoughts and impressions, I create graphic art through the printmaking technique known as etching. Many of my images can be compared to a riddle or a mystery of some kind - one can "read" the story behind them similar to how one would read a story in a book. I work in a variety of genres, and my creations often reflect my mood and psychological state at a given moment, ranging from ironic and humorous to serious and introspective. The characters and situations engraved on my zinc plates are easily relatable and bring positive vibes into the world. I pay close attention to details, inviting viewers to explore every part of the story behind each of my artistic pieces with me.
