Working mainly in oils, I aim to create paintings that feel both intimate and archetypal—stories half-remembered, interpretations that ride beneath the surface, and the quiet poetry that exists in transitions. I use classical technique to depict emotional memory and experience, with varying degrees of finish/realism depending on my subject matter.
